After nearly 9 years of running The Warren, I’ve made the decision to start looking for someone new to take over the day-to-day running of the restaurant. This place has been my life’s work, shaped by big dreams, long days, passionate people, and a shared belief that food should be honest, seasonal, local, and nourishing.

It’s been an incredible journey. Together we’ve created something far bigger than I could have imagined, not just a restaurant but a community hub, a platform for good food, and a space where people feel welcome and cared for. That’s down to the amazing team I work with, our brilliant suppliers, and to you, the people who’ve shown up, supported us, and shared in this vision.

I’m not disappearing. I’ll still be around, but I’m ready to step back and focus more on community projects including Cegin Hedyn, Carmarthen’s community kitchen and allotment project. It’s growing beautifully, and I feel a deep pull to give it the time and care it deserves.

The Warren will continue as normal for now: the same team, same food, same warm welcome. This transition may take months or even years. There’s no rush, only a commitment to finding the right person or people to carry it forward with care.
