The Warren

Saturday 12 September

The birthday is sold out.

Every ticket has gone, and thank you. There are walk-ins from 8pm, one in and one out as the room allows, so it is worth coming down.

If you would rather have a ticket in hand, the waiting list is open and you will hear the moment one comes back.

Plated starters lined up along the pass at The Warren, ready to go out, with bread bowls in front of them

We're open again.

In Carmarthen. Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday lunch.

A changing seasonal menu from the farms, growers and producers around us, cooked and hosted by Deri and the team. Walk in on a Friday or Saturday evening, or book a table for Sunday lunch.

How it works

Friday and Saturday, evenings from 6pm. An ordinary evening out: a changing menu from the kitchen, a drink, a table for as long as you like. Walk in, no booking needed. Tables to book online for the evenings are coming soon.

Sunday, lunch from midday. One sitting: arrive at midday, get a drink, settle in and meet the room. Deri introduces the menu, then we all sit down and eat together. Booking is recommended, and you can walk in too.

Tell us who and what, and leave it empty if there are none. One chef cooks one menu for the whole room, so we will tell you honestly what we can and cannot do rather than guess. You can change this any time before Sunday, and we will remind you.

We do not have a wheelchair accessible toilet. We would rather say so now than have you find out on the day. Tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly whether we can manage it, and if we cannot, we will say that too.

The card, plainly

We hold a card, nothing is charged. Booking online holds a card to keep your table. You are not charged when you book, and you pay for what you order on the day.

More than 72 hours before, cancel free. Change your mind up to three days before your table and there is nothing to pay.

Closer in, a fee a head. Inside 72 hours it is £10 a head, inside 24 hours £20 a head, and a no-show is £30 a head, taken from the card we held. By then the food is bought and one chef has shopped for the exact number of people who said they were coming.

Book right up to the day. There is no deadline. If the room has space it is yours, and the page will tell you honestly whether it has. Bookings only close when the service starts.

Finding us

11 Mansel Street, Caerfyrddin / Carmarthen, SA31 1PX. The easiest place to park is St Catherine's Walk, the multi storey on St Catherine Street, five minutes' walk away. There is a little parking on Mansel Street itself, but it goes quickly.

Anything at all: 01267 236079 or send us a message.

Dogs

One thing about dogs. We love them, we always have been a place you could bring yours, and we will be again. Sunday lunch is the exception: one room, one sitting, everyone eating at the same time. It is not much of an afternoon for a dog and it is a lot to ask of the room. Bring them any other time and we will be genuinely pleased to see them.
