Carmarthen's best-loved room, open for you to host almost anything, morning, afternoon or evening, on any day we are not already running something ourselves. You bring the idea. We bring a decade of knowing how to fill a room. Tell us what you have in mind and a person reads every one.
For ten years The Warren has been where the town comes together: the full rooms, the long tables, the nights people still talk about. Now the kitchen and the room are open to host your event, run by people who do this every week.
What you can host
- Community projects A mens shed, a food project, a regular get-together that needs a warm room and a kitchen behind it.
- Food trucks and guest chefs A street-food name that has outgrown the pitch, or a private chef who wants a room to host a night.
- Parties and weddings A birthday, an anniversary, a wedding do. Weddings and larger parties take the whole place, just yours.
- Coffee mornings and local groups A local organisation putting on a coffee morning, a talk, a fundraiser. Usually self-run, the room is yours.
- One-off events and live music A gig, a launch, a supper club. If it belongs in a warm room with a good bar, it belongs here.

Buffet lunch
A buffet from our kitchen, if you would rather we fed the room.
Every one is separate, so you only pay for what you actually want. A coffee morning might just need the room and the urn; a wedding might want the kitchen, a buffet, staff and the bar. Tell us what fits and we will cost it plainly, no surprises.
How it works
Any day we are free
Pick any day we are not already running an event. Mornings and afternoons as well as evenings.
At least two weeks out
So we can do it properly. Choose a date a fortnight or more ahead and a person comes back to you. Never an instant booking.
Costed to the day
Kitchen, buffet, staff, bar: only what you need. We talk it through first, nothing is a surprise.
Holding a date
A deposit secures your day and comes off the final cost.
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are our prime nights, so the deposit on those is non-refundable.
Any other day takes a deposit that is fully refundable if you cancel with 30 days notice.
Weddings, and any event over 50 people, take the whole place on an exclusive-hire basis.
